Mobile Medic ("we", "us") provides on-site and mail-in phone repairs in Melbourne. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- The address where you'd like an on-site repair, or your return address for mail-in repairs.
- Details about your device and the fault, such as the make, model and repair needed.
- Messages you send us by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Messenger or email.
- Payment records. We don't store full card numbers.
Why we collect it
- To quote, book and carry out your repair.
- To contact you about your booking, repair status or warranty.
- To return your device if you use our mail-in service.
- To keep records we're required to keep, such as invoices.
Data on your device
We don't need to access your photos, messages or other personal data to carry out a repair. Where we need to test the device, we'll ask you to unlock it or provide a passcode, and we only use it for testing. We recommend backing up your phone before any repair.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or trade your personal information. We only share it when needed to provide our service, for example with a courier for mail-in repairs or with our payment provider, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and invoice records for as long as we need them for warranty purposes and to meet our legal obligations, then delete them securely.
